  • What GeoCAD stands for? Geo is for "geodesy" - my main profession, CAD - for AutoCAD, the platform my tools are developed for.

  • Why GeoCAD3? There have been GeoCAD and GeoCAD2 tools - above 200 different purpose and complexity snippets, some sold commercially, some not worth mentioning. GeoCAD3 is set of new tools meant to be freeware, still bearing the name of previous tools to be recognized.

  • GeoCAD3 tools are mostly written in AutoLisp programming language, which enables to use them through all versions of AutoCAD platform products.
